Summer Fun???

We spent the day on Saturday shulking, cutting off, and putting corn up for the freezer. Between Tuesday (when we did the same thing) and Saturday, we ended up having somewhere around 1100 ears of corn. So...one might ask how do you keep six/seven kids occupied in order to get anything accomplished? Well, here you go...





Riley Grace was able to be there on Tuesday afternoon, but was in Montgomery on Saturday - we missed you RG!!

    Whew! I remember those days! We haven't put up corn in years. Once my brothers started playing baseball all summer long, my daddy quit planting a garden. Maybe we can have one again when things settle down around here! Looks like the kids had a ton of fun!

    We did our corn last weekend too. Will collected the worms that we found hiding under the shucks. Our corn turned out so good and sweet that we just ate some of it raw as we cleaned it.
