For the last two years, we have extended our Christmas festivities through the 26th so that we are all able to enjoy a day full of each other at Mother and Daddy's without having to be in a hurry to make the next stop. With so many of us, it is hard to plan around every one's schedules and this has just worked out well for everyone that last couple of years. After opening presents, the kids play the day away with old and new toys and us adults are able to visit for hours. What more could you want for Christmas?!?! Honestly, I kind of hope this becomes our new tradition...in addition to the bonfire we build at the end of the day each year:)

It was a GREAT day and here are a few pictures of the kids (mostly) to share with everyone from the day...

After Caroline finished posing on her new bike that Santa brought her, we headed over to Mother and Daddy's for a yummy lunch with them, Kristen, Josh, and all of my grandparents. Then we were off to Jamey's grandparents (Memommie and G'Daddy) for the rest of Christmas day. As you can see from the pictures, there were lots of presents to be opened and lots of fun to be had.

So I am guessing that all of you are wondering if Santa Clause came to visit Caroline since it is February and there have been no pictures/reports of it?!?! Of course he came as she was super sweet in 2009. Here are some pictures of our Christmas morning together. Caroline was very excited about the gifts she found by the tree, but most excited about the fact that Santa had sat on her fireplace to eat his cookies and drink his milk...WOW!!! And when Caroline went to bed the night before, she was extremely concerned about the fact that Santa might get our floors dirty coming in off the wet roof. So naturally (for her anyway), she wondered why our carport was so clean on Christmas morning if Santa had been there?!?! That is where my cleaning habits and Jamey's quick thinking came in handy;)Caroline showing off her "I'm a rockstar!!!" pose and her purple and pink guitar...that she loves!!

We had two Christmas gatherings on Christmas Eve. First we went to eat lunch with Granny Reeves and then back to her apartment to open gifts.

The years that Jamey is home for Christmas, we do Christmas at his mom's house on Christmas Eve night. I didn't get my camera out until we started with the gifts, but I think I got most everyone.

As you can see, the kids had fun opening presents and we enjoyed watching them and spending time with the family.

And of course, there was no going to bed before putting milk and cookies out for Santa!!
