HE'S HERE...Proud parents, Jeff and Katherine, welcomed Jeffrey Bennett Hunt II into this world on Saturday, September 20 at 7:44 pm EST. He weighed 7 pounds and 12 ounces and is 20 inches long.
Katherine did not have to be induced, but ended up having a c-section due to the fact that Bennett's umbilical cord was around his neck and his heart rate was dropping while she was in labor, but everyone is fine. When I talked with Jeff tonight he said that Bennett is doing great, Katherine is still a little sore, and they are all a tired. They did get to come home from the hospital today and Jeff will be off work through the end of the week. Katherine's mom, dad, and sister Sarah will be coming into town on Friday to visit and help out for a few days.
Katherine is going to post some pictures on Snapfish as soon as she gets a chance and I will post a link here for everyone to see pictures of their sweet man. But here is what Jeff told me Saturday night when I asked him who Bennett resembles - "Well, he looks like me, has Katherine's nose, and tell Jamey he does NOT have my ears!!!" HAHAHA
Anyway, if you like, you can leave your comments here for the Hunt family as they are regular "stalkers" of my blog:)
CONGRATULATIONS JEFF AND KATHERINE!
